Mount Baker, Blaine, Meridian and Nooksack Valley boys wrestlers competed at the WIAA 1A Region 1 wrestling tournament at Mount Baker High School on Feb. 11.

17 athletes from those Whatcom County schools moved on to the Mat Classic XXXIV by placing top three in their respective weight classes, while seven captured first place.
