Anacortes football is headed to its first state championship game in program history following a  34-20 win over Enumclaw in the 2A state semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 25 at Anacortes High School.

The No. 2-seeded Seahawks (12-0) stayed undefeated with the win over No. 3 Enumclaw (12-1).

It was already the best season in program history for Anacortes as last week’s win gave the team its first-ever semifinal berth, and the Seahawks now have a chance to cap it off with a state title.

Anacortes will play the winner of No. 1 Tumwater (12-0) and No. 4 North Kitsap (12-1) in the 2A state championship at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at Husky Stadium in Seattle.
