State parks free June 11–12

Discover Passes won’t be required at state parks Saturday or Sunday in honor of National Get Outdoors Day and Free Fishing Weekend.
National Get Outdoors Day is an annual event encouraging healthy, active and outdoor fun.
Free Fishing Weekend allows anyone in the state to fish or harvest shellfish without a license. Typically, anyone 15 or older must possess a license.
During Free Fishing Weekend, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife vehicle access passes are also not required.
Outside of this weekend, Discover Passes cost $10 for a day pass and $30 for an annual pass. An annual freshwater fishing license is $29.50 for those ages 16–69 and $7.50 for those 70 and older. Licenses for non-residents cost $84.50.
