Dozens enjoyed woodworking demonstrations, a market with more than 50 artisans, a circus show and more at the Skagit Wood Expo and Marketplace on Saturday, April 6 at the Skagit County Fairgrounds in Mount Vernon. The expo aimed to showcase local woodworkers — chainsaw sculptors, wood turners and furniture makers — and also provided a marketplace for wood slabs and other materials. 

The event was supported by the Northwest Washington Woodturners, Northwest Corner Woodworking Association and Northwest Woodworking Association.
