Sehome High School’s commons came to life on Friday, March 1 with the Ebony Gala — a celebration of Black history hosted by the school’s Young Multiracial Society.

More than 150 attended the event filled with dancing, live music from local Black musicians, speeches and food. This was the second year of the student-run event.
