Bellingham police asks for help identifying motorcycle rider on public trails

Police are asking for the public to call 911 if they see a motorcycle riding on pedestrian and bike trails in Bellingham.

Bellingham Police Department has received multiple reports of the rider creating safety issues for those on the trails, and for vehicles when it crosses or drives on roadways.

The bike is dark colored and “homemade style” without plates, according to police.

Police are asking for a description of the rider, the last known location and the direction of travel.
