A two-run, third-inning burst was all the offense the Vikings needed, and Western Washington University softball won its first-round game, 2-1, over Wilmington University in the NCAA Division II World Series on Sunday, May 19 at Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park in Longwood, Florida.
