From the moment he could walk, Bellingham artist Ben Mann held a crayon in his hand and has been perfecting his instantly recognizable style found all across town ever since.

After moving to San Francisco from Bellingham at age 17 to study art, he spent years waiting tables while figuring out how to pay his bills through painting. Mann moved back to Bellingham in 1996 where he grew his business into what it is today. Mann said the area never lost its grip on him.

The bright, vibrant, optimistic, warm energy coming from his work offers an escape from Washington’s dark winters, making Mann’s paintings a staple in the local art community.
