Free vaccines offered at Bellingham clinic in February

Walk-in, pre-registration available for uninsured individuals

A Bellingham-based clinic is offering free vaccines for uninsured individuals. Hosted by Whatcom County Health and Community Services, vaccines are available one day in February while supplies last, on a first come, first serve basis.

COVID-19, flu, monkeypox and childhood vaccines are offered from 3–6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 2030 Division St., Bellingham.

Another vaccine clinic will be at the Bellingham location in March, and the East Whatcom Regional Resource Center in Maple Falls will host a vaccine clinic in April. The Maple Falls location also offers Narcan kits, glucose and blood pressure checks.

Walk-ins are available at the Bellingham location; visitors are asked to fill out the pre-registration paperwork before they arrive.

Vaccines may also be available at local grocery stores, pharmacies and health care facilities. These locations may require proof of insurance and/or out-of-pocket payment. Vaccine seekers are advised to call these locations or visit their websites to find out what they offer.

More information, registration times and links to register can be found online.
