We’re excited to introduce an improved website for desktop and mobile readers.

In the two years since Cascadia Daily News launched on digital platforms, we’ve listened to your feedback and suggestions for a better reading experience.

Our goal was to provide readers better access to all our content, including a better mobile experience and an easier way to find popular features like “Faces in the Crowd,” our lively Letters to the Editor page and special reports. Our redesign highlights what makes CDN stand apart from other local newsrooms: Robust, essential local and state reporting of issues relevant to Northwest Washington residents.

You’ll also see new features: a “Latest News” list of stories and a “Most Read” module near the bottom, which tracks which stories our readers determine are the most popular.

Part of our relaunch includes upgrading our subscription platform. Subscribers will receive an email within a week with a link to reset your password and access your new account dashboard. In the meantime, you will still be able to browse the new website on desktop, tablet or on your phone. You’ll see advertising on the site, supporting local businesses.

Our local customer service team is available to answer any questions you have about your subscription or the new website. Call 360-922-3090, option 1, or email support@cascadiadaily.com. Our team members are available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

We want to hear from you once you familiarize yourself with the changes. Share your feedback in our brief survey.

As we launch the website this week, we’ll be making some adjustments if there are startup glitches, common for most digital launches.

We would love to know what you think of the new look and user experience. Please let us know at newstips@cascadiadaily.com or send comments to Executive Editor Ron Judd at ronjudd@cascadiadaily.com.
