Southwest Airlines will expand nonstop service from Bellingham International Airport (BLI) to Denver starting June 8.

The airport will offer three weekly nonstop departures, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. A nonstop Saturday-only flight to Denver International Airport (DEN) was first added in April 2023. The popular route currently includes 46 weekly flights.

DEN was ranked the third busiest airport in the world in 2022, which means this expansion of service will increase connecting routes for BLI. Travelers can also avoid the traffic and crowds of larger airports.

With Southwest, flights can be changed or canceled with no fees. Southwest also aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
