Pioneers bounce back from last week's loss, beat Mountaineers 49-19

Nooksack Valley scored 42 first-half points in a dominant 49-19 win over Mount Baker on Friday, Oct. 13 at Nooksack Valley High School.

The Pioneers eventually reached a running clock before slowing down in the second half, still doing enough to pick up a decisive, bounce-back victory following their 21-20 loss to in-conference rival Lynden Christian on Friday, Oct. 6.

Nooksack Valley (5-2, 2-1 Northwest Conference) will go on the road for the final game of its regular season, taking on Blaine (2-5, 1-1 NWC) at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27.

Mount Baker (2-5, 1-1 NWC) will host Meridian (3-4, 0-3 NWC) at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20.
