Light up the night
In these dark days leading up to winter solstice, look for lights in a variety of ways, including Community Tree Lightings at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 in downtown Ferndale; 6 p.m. Dec. 1 in historic Anacortes; and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Depot Market Square in downtown Bellingham. Bellingham Yacht Club’s Lighted Boat Parade, Candyland Christmas Cruise, begins at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Squalicum Harbor.
