Two suspects identified in Kendall shooting

Police ask for public's help locating the two brothers

Two brothers were identified as the suspects of a March 24 shooting in Kendall that injured two men, police said.

James Franklin Gamble, 34, and Christopher David Gamble, 31, are suspected of first-degree burglary, first-degree assault, and first-degree robbery, according to a Tuesday, March 28, Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office release.

Christopher Gamble may face additional charges of unlawful possession and felony harassment.

The sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help locating the Gamble brothers, who are familiar in the Paradise Lakes area. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either of the suspects is asked to call 911.

Shortly after 7 a.m. March 24, Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a man shot in the face at the 6100 block of Hawthorne Place in Kendall. Another man who was injured was located and both individuals were taken to St. Joseph Medical Center. 

The condition of the two injured men is unknown as of Tuesday.
