Mount Baker senior Elijah Washburn won the Class 1A boys 170-pound championship at Mat Classic XXXIV at the Tacoma Dome on Saturday.

Washburn pinned Toppenish senior Armando John with 14 seconds left in the first period. Washburn improves on his second-place finish at state last season.
