MOUNT VERNON — The Mariners will have to trudge through a tougher path, now needing two more wins to secure a regional berth. Sehome, the No. 3 seed in the 2A District 1 girls basketball tournament, was outgunned by Burlington-Edison in a semifinal game at Mount Vernon High School Monday night, losing 56-46. The loss dropped the Mariners into the consolation bracket while Burlington-Edison clinched a spot in the regional round of the state tournament by advancing to the district champion
