A balanced scoring effort helped Lynden to a 51-29 victory over Snohomish on Saturday, Dec. 30 to claim the Lynden Christmas Classic girls basketball tournament championship at Lynden Christian High School. Lynden (11-1, 5-1 Northwest Conference) had six players score at least six points, led by junior Kiki York's 11 points and sophomore Payton Mills' 10.  Meanwhile, Snohomish (6-4, 3-2 3A WESCO) had only two players notch six points or more.
