Two WWU students stabbed off-campus early Saturday

Extent of their injuries is unknown

Two Western Washington University students were stabbed after an altercation on the 1100 block of Billy Frank Jr. Street at 12:28 a.m. Saturday, according to a Western Alert sent out by the university Saturday afternoon.

The victims sought help at the Bellingham Fire Department, where they received EMT assistance. The extent of their injuries is unknown. 

A person of interest was seen heading away from campus after the incident carrying a silver knife. The person was described as a white male, age 20–21, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 150 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bellingham Police Department at 360-778-8611. This story will be updated as more information becomes known.
