Families, kids and adults came out of their shells for Easter weekend activities around Whatcom County.

With an adult-only Easter egg hunt at Gruff Brewing, many relived the childhood experience of running, shoving and pushing to retrieve eggs filled with candy and prizes. The Sunday event also featured $5 mimosas and a raffle.

At Bellewood Farms & Distillery in Lynden, kids experienced the joy of petting farm animals and the abject terror of meeting the Easter bunny. Families snacked on cider donuts, took rides to the orchard on the tractor and earned prizes on the bunny trail.
