A Blaine man was a victim of an armed robbery Monday night, according to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.

At around 11:30 p.m., deputies responded to an armed robbery report coming from the 8,000 block of Kickerville Road in Blaine, according to a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was robbed at gunpoint by three individuals. Two of the robbers were women in their 20s wearing surgical masks who gained entry to the victim’s residence under the guise of car troubles.

Shortly after the women suspects entered, a third, masked male individual entered the residence armed with a handgun. One of the women suspects also showed a firearm to the victim, the post stated.

While holding the victim at gunpoint, the trio ransacked the house stealing electronics, cash, firearms and other valuables. After the suspects fled the scene, a K-9 unit was deployed but yielded no results.

The suspects’ have not been identified.

“No other details will be released at this time regarding the robbery as it is an active investigation,” said Deb Slater, community programs coordinator of the Sheriff’s Office.
