The commission will discuss and possibly take action on providing public access to the shorelines of Cherry Point

Whatcom County Council meeting as the Health Board, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, 322 N. Commercial St.  
Council will consider a resolution affirming that homelessness and a lack of affordable housing are a public health crisis

Whatcom County Forestry Advisory Committee Meeting, 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, 5280 Northwest Drive  

The committee will meet Tuesday to discuss Whatcom County's goal of joint management of forestlands with the state Department of Natural Resources. The meeting will last approximately two hours.

Bellingham is updating its Comprehensive Plan, the document it uses to guide growth toward a 20-year vision for the future. This update is due in 2025 and will guide development, capital investments, city programs and other actions across the city as it works toward its vision for 2045. Survey online.
