The Bellingham Circus Guild‘s 15th annual production of its longest-running show, “My Circus Valentine,” is back at the Cirque Lab this weekend. Shows run Feb. 14–16, with an additional 21-plus show (9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16) announced this week.
The narrative for “My Circus Valentine” changes yearly and explores a variety of themes around human connection, from romantic love to passion, loss, grief, isolation and companionship. Writer and emcee Nicole Laumb said this year’s production hinges on “the concept of light and dark, and neither is actually good or bad, and where do we exist in [that] balance?”
