Will the real owner of the superyacht Stardust please stand up? Bellinghamsters have some questions about your boat.

The superyacht anchored in Bellingham Bay around Sunday, according to photos posted on Reddit and social media.

By Monday afternoon, the CDN newsroom had fielded multiple calls and emails from readers asking about the luxury 203-foot yacht, why it was anchored, and who owned it.

Well, after less than 24 hours of reporting, we can tell you this: We don’t know much.

Port of Bellingham Public Affairs Administrator Mike Hogan said the port didn’t have any information about its owner or how long it would be anchored in the bay.

The United States Coast Guard station told CDN they weren’t responsible for the vessel and couldn’t answer questions about it.

Everything we could find came from simple Google searches about the $200 million-valued super yacht that boasts a sundeck pool, multiple lounge areas and a helipad, according to Luxury Launches.

The yacht designed by Tim Heywood, a yacht designer from England, was built in 2020 in the Netherlands, according to Boats International. It has 14 crew members and can hold up to 12 guests.

No one knows who owns the boat, so it’s up to you mystery Stardust owner to step forward.

Stardust flies under the Cayman Island flag, according to Marine Traffic, a website that tracks maritime vessels.

But for those of you who want to see the yacht, the time has passed. Stardust left Bellingham Bay around 2 p.m. Tuesday and is on its way to Friday Harbor, according to Marine Traffic.
