Volleyball: Ferndale at Sehome
7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28 at Sehome High School

Ferndale is the top 3A school in the Northwest Conference with an 8-5 record, while Sehome is ranked third overall in the conference with a 10-2 record. Both teams are looking to make a higher push in the standings before district playoffs begin in a couple weeks. Both teams have split their last two matches.

WWU basketball: Viking Jam
7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Carver Gymnasium

Western basketball will provide an exciting way to start the 2024–25 season. The Viking Jam will feature games between the men’s and women’s basketball teams, including 3-point and dunk contests. The women’s team is ranked first in the preseason Great Northwest Athletic Conference polls while the men’s team is in the middle of the pack.

Adaptive Sports Demo Series
11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Whatcom Family YMCA

The Whatcom Family YMCA provides an open, friendly environment with a variety of adaptive sports. Some sports will include adaptive badminton, chair yoga, boccia and sitting volleyball. It is free to YMCA members and $5 to non-members.
