Anacortes record: 11-1
Final prediction: Anacortes 35-21
Anacortes’ high-octane offense is coming off a 55-13 victory in the quarterfinals against West Valley (Spokane). The Seahawks battled some injuries during the regular season but have returned to full strength, and continue to be a favorite for the state title.
In the last six games, Anacortes has a combined score of 335-25. On the other hand, WF West has not allowed more than 14 points per game.
WF West player to watch: QB/WR Gage Brumfield, senior
Brumfield is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound Eastern Washington commit. The offensive playmaker led WF West to a 27-8 victory last week against Franklin Pierce and had a rushing and passing touchdown.
Anacortes player to watch: QB/WR/DB Brady Beaner, senior
Since Ryan Harrington’s injury in the middle of the season, Beaner has taken over as the starting quarterback in a two-quarterback system. The Montana commit provides a dual-threat attack for the Seahawks. In the regular season, he tallied 950 passing yards, 600 rushing yards, 450 receiving yards, 37 tackles and two interceptions.
