The Seahawks drew one of the top seeds in the 2A state bracket and will begin their state title defense against the Bulldogs. Foster snuck into the state tournament after winning last week against Sultan 36-13.
Anacortes has not given up a touchdown since its lone loss against Archbishop Murphy on Oct. 11. Since that game, the Seahawks have outscored their opponents 157-0.
Foster player to watch: QB Sebastian Soria, senior
Soria is a 5-foot-10 quarterback and defensive back. He has also played wide receiver and provides a dual-threat style. He has led the Bulldogs offense to nearly 14 points per game.
Anacortes player to watch: QB Ryan Harrington, sophomore
Harrington has led the Seahawks’ aerial attack with 1,242 yards, 12 touchdowns and one interception. He has led the offense to 77 points against Marysville-Pilchuck, 36 points against Burlington-Edison and 44 points against Lakewood.
