WSDOT reopened the road after removing car-sized boulders

All lanes of travel on State Route 11, or Chuckanut Drive, have reopened to traffic north of Oyster Creek after crews cleaned up from a rockslide overnight.

The road reopened at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, after crews from the Washington State Department of Transportation removed fallen boulders, some of the size of cars, from the area between milepost 9.6 to 13.9, according to WSDOT. Heavy machinery had to be brought in to remove the rocks.

The slide had shut the road down around 3:30 a.m, according to a WSDOT post on social media.
