Update: State Route 9 in Everson reopened after downed trees, power lines

More than 1,300 customers without power in Everson, Nooksack

State Route 9 at Badger Road (milepost 94) in Everson has reopened after both directions were closed Saturday afternoon, Dec. 14, due to fallen trees and power lines.

The road was cleared and reopened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

More than 1,300 customers were without power in Everson and Nooksack as of 3:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Puget Sound Energy’s outage map. Another 450 customers were without power between Blaine and Lynden.
