Canoe races, basketball tournaments and performances drew hundreds to the 76th annual Lummi Stommish Water Festival over the weekend.

The Tribe organized several war canoe races throughout the festival, with championship races held Sunday afternoon. The three-day festival also featured a parade honoring the Tribe’s veterans, a comedy show, poetry readings and cultural events.
