I-5 south of Bow down to single lane until Thursday

Crews working on Samish River bridge deck overlay

Interstate 5 south of Bow is down to a single lane until 6 a.m. Thursday while crews work on the Samish River bridge deck overlay project.

The lane closure affects only southbound traffic and the affected area begins just south of the Bow weigh station. Commuters should plan for longer travel times due to a speed reduction and the lane closure, according to a Washington State Department of Transportation release.

A 12-foot-wide load restriction is also in effect until Thursday.
