Local schools delay start time due to snow

Roads are slick, warns WSDOT

Temperatures have been below freezing since the beginning of the week. Overnight the county saw snow which is causing slick roads, warned the Washington State Department of Transportation on Twitter.

Meridian School District announced they will begin on time today, but several districts in the county announced a delay. 

Below are the schools that have announced a late start:

Bellingham School District (2-hour delay)

Blaine School District (2-hour delay)

Lummi Nation School (2-hour delay)

Mount Baker School District (2-hour delay)

Nooksack Valley School District (2-hour delay)

CDN will update this list if more schools announce a delay.
