Ferndale’s Larrabee claims Birger Solberg crown

Sehome takes top spot as team

The best boys golfers in Whatcom County hit the course Thursday at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club for the annual Birger Solberg Invite.

Ferndale’s Baylor Larrabee captured the individual title, posting a score of 69. Sehome’s Wes Bothel and Lynden’s Jordan Medcalf were behind him with scores of 75. Rounding out the top six were Bellingham’s Alec Jamieson (77), Lynden’s Jack Stapleton (78) and Lynden’s Logan Medcalf (78).

For the second year in a row, Sehome claimed the team title with a score of 319. Lynden placed second with a 324. Lynden Christian was third with a 332 and Ferndale finished fourth with a 336.

Squalicum placed sixth (384) behind Meridian (352). Leading the Storm was Daniel Robbins who shot an 89.
